 Every once in a while we will introduce you to member of the 'Krafty family'. Meet one of our photographers: Pavel! 1. Could you introduce yourself ?
I am not sure about what you want to hear from me, but will it be enough if I say that I am a single 26 years old man, with Virgo as my star sign who lives in Northern Moravia. I work as a product manager and a purchasing agent for a company named "Marko Foto" and spend my free time taking photographs.
2. When did you start taking pictures?
I began with photography in 2003. I am referring to something more serious – when I actually think before I take a picture and the result is not a random result. I would rather not show you some of my early photographs. I laugh at them now.
3. Which themes do you prefer to shoot?
I like to take pictures of landscapes the most - somewhere high up in the mountains, alone ... in contrast, I also like to shoot portraits and acts – where there is close contact with people :o)
4. What kind of music/parties do you like?
At parties I prefer TRANCE/PROGRESSIVE. I can “switch-off” and transfer myself to a different dimension. It is enough for me to experience that several times in the year.
At home when it’s calm, I like to listen to CHICANE, ATB, SCHILLER, ENIGMA...
5. What's your general life philosophy?
Ufff ... now you got me. I am pondering ... maybe my life philosophy is not to think about my life philosophy. What happened happened, a person has to learn from that and regarding the future .... we will have to wait and see. I live for today and one year old events seem to have happened an awfully long time ago to me.
6. What's your favourite picture and why ?
My favourite photo is neither from any report, party nor a nice looking lady from an act. It is a picture from the DOLOMITES – from the Seceda plateau - 2.600 meters above the sea level. I have the photograph hung on the wall and whenever I look at it, I imagine that summer is all around me – I hate the winter. This photograph actually won the best photo award organised by CANON in the landscape category.

7. If you had to change your profession what would you like to be?
The job that I do is actually my hobby as well. However if I could choose anyway, I would take the job of film graphic or a photographer during movie shooting.
8. What do you always wish you'd get asked, but rarely do?
Would you like to go with us to a party in MALTA or IBIZA, simply somewhere where it is nice and warm??? :o))))))
9. What's your favourite food?
I love Italian cuisine. In particular, I mean pastries in hundreds of styles and chicken meat in general.
10. Could you tell us something about your future plans ?
I would like to go to Norway and then to somewhere in Africa – to some of the national parks. Obviously I would take my camera with me. However, in the meantime I am investing the money into better photo equipment. I have started taking pictures for reports from concerts and parties only a short time ago but you need some of the best equipment which costs 40-50.000 Kè (CZK). As well as that, I would also like to go to a major party abroad and combine that with a nice vacation.
